Experience Old-World Charm

Raghu Niwas, affectionately called Lal Kothi by the locals, is a two-storied house. During its heyday, the sitting rooms were treated as dormitories for the children to sleep, and during the day, it was the place where everyone spent time together, playing cards, board games or simply taking a nap. The warmth of those shared hours seems to have been absorbed by the walls of the house and it’s an ideal place for bonding with family and friends.

The Rooms

Raghu Niwas has 4 suites or apartments - 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Each one is 1250 sq ft in area, with a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a sitting room.

As an option, if you decide to book the whole house, you can have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Many families choose to spend an extended period of time in the house, by bringing their own cooks or requesting temporary cooks who can provide home-cooked meals, catering to the different needs of kids, grown-ups, and youngsters. For those who don’t want to make the effort, food can be ordered from the in-house kitchen and served in the dining area of the property.

the Surroundings

Set against a majestic backdrop of the foothills of Mussoorie, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Doon Valley. The picturesque gardens of Raghu Niwas make it the ideal setting to witness the sunrise and sunset, while you sip on your cup of chai.
